Your camera stays on your device. Magic Mirror processes camera frames and microphone input locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or receive those images, video, or audio.

Who runs Magic Mirror

Magic Mirror is operated by Broadhurst Digital. Questions about this notice or your information can be sent to hello@broadhurst.digital.

Optional website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics”, we load Google Analytics 4 so we can understand visits and product interactions such as starting the camera, trying an effect, opening the unlock screen, or taking a snapshot. This helps us improve the product and understand which marketing is useful.

We do not send camera images, audio, names, email addresses, licence keys, or payment details to analytics. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad personalisation are disabled. Google may process technical information such as your browser, approximate location, pages visited, referral source, and interaction timestamps.

If you decline, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser so we can remember it.

Functional browser storage

The app stores a small amount of information on your device to remember your licence status, favourite effects, onboarding state, analytics preference, and first visit attribution. This stays in your browser unless you clear it.

Payments

When checkout is enabled, payments are handled by Stripe. Magic Mirror does not receive or store your full card details. Stripe’s own privacy information applies to its checkout service.

How long information is kept

Analytics retention is set in Google Analytics and will be reviewed regularly. Functional browser storage remains until you clear site data. We keep only what is needed to operate and improve Magic Mirror.

Your choices and rights

You can change your analytics choice at any time. You can also ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a concern by emailing us.
