Questions parents ask
What do I need to run it?
A laptop from roughly 2016 or later with a webcam, Chrome or Edge, and — for the full party experience — an HDMI cable into any TV or monitor. That's it. Phones and tablets work too in single-screen mode.
Are photos of my kids uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser — there is no server, no cloud processing, and no account. Snapshots save directly to your own downloads folder. We couldn't see your photos even if we wanted to.
Is it really a one-time payment?
Yes. £6.99 once unlocks every effect forever, including everything we add in the future. We think party magic shouldn't be a subscription.
What ages is it for?
The sweet spot is 3–10, but we've yet to meet a teenager — or a grandparent — who can resist pulling a face at the thermal camera. It's a hit at family gatherings, youth groups, and school fairs too.
Does it work without internet at the party?
You need internet to load the page; after that, the effects run entirely on your device. A phone hotspot is plenty if the venue has no Wi-Fi.
I paid — how do I get my effects back on a new laptop?
Your unlock key arrives by email when you buy. Open the app on the new machine, tap "Already unlocked?", and paste your key. Done.
