The hardest part of a kids' Halloween party is calibration: spooky enough that the nine-year-olds don't declare it babyish, gentle enough that the four-year-olds don't need carrying home. Three games for the haunted mirror
- Ghost walk: one at a time, kids cross the frame in ghost mode as slowly and spookily as they can. The room votes for the most haunting crossing. Winner picks the next effect.
- Monster freeze: musical statues, but judged on the TV — when the music stops, freeze in your scariest pose. The freeze-countdown effect takes the photo for you.
- Séance selfies: at the party's peak, group photos in night vision. Send them to parents with no caption. You're welcome.
